Bookings & video calls with OpenLagoon

Updated Sep 1, 2026

If you sell your time — consultations, coaching, classes, support calls — you can put a booking page on any page of your hosted site. Scheduling, video meetings, and payment for paid sessions are handled by OpenLagoon; your site embeds the booking flow so visitors never leave your page.

Set it up once

  1. Create an OpenLagoon account at openlagoon.com and define your session types (a free 15-minute intro, a paid 60-minute consult — whatever you offer). Make sure each session type has its booking page enabled.
  2. In OpenLagoon's dashboard, open Settings → API and copy your API key.
  3. In your site's admin, open Settings and paste it into the OpenLagoon API key field.

Add a booking block to a page

In the visual editor, add a block and choose Booking (OpenLagoon). The picker lists your session types live from your account — name, duration, and price — and one click embeds that session's booking page right in your layout. Visitors pick a time, enter their details, and (for paid sessions) pay, all inline.

Working by chat instead? Ask Claude to "add my 30-minute consultation booking to the contact page" — the same block is available through your Claude connection.

Good to know

  • Payments for paid sessions go through OpenLagoon, not your site's Stripe store — bookings and product sales are separate systems with separate payouts.
  • The embed always shows your current session settings — change a price or duration in OpenLagoon and every embed updates automatically.
  • Your API key stays on the server. Visitors only ever see the public booking page.
  • No OpenLagoon account yet? The block shows you exactly what to set up, and you can also paste a booking URL directly if you prefer.
